Everybody loves to gossip.
What’s she had done? Do you think she’s had her X done? I don’t think that’s natural, is it? I’m sure she didn’t look like that in high-school!
People often point out celebrities, or even people they know, who have gone a little overboard with injectables.
“How could they do that and think they look good?!”
Do you know what question I usually respond with?
“How could their nurse do that, and think that it looks good?!”
Responsibility falls on the professional. As a nurse, I should do the least amount of treatment to get the maximum results desired, and having a therapeutic, trusting relationship with your practitioner means honest conversations about knowing when to stop.
Think back to the first time you tried treatment. The nerves finally subside and you start to see the amazing benefits of your treatment. You now look in the mirror A LOT more and start to think… “Hmmm what else I could do?”
We see the benefits these treatments can bring and it can be a little addictive. We chase that feeling and enjoy the rush of someone giving you a compliment, telling you how fresh and beautiful you look.
But, if you’re an existing client of mine, you know I have absolutely no qualms in saying ‘no’ to unnecessary treatments.
I do natural, fresh, youthful and undetectable.
I do NOT do emotionless, shiny, unnatural and puffy.
So, if you come to me for a treatment and I refuse or suggest an alternative, don’t be offended – know that I am looking out for you and putting your best face forward.
