People often say to me “Oh, I know it's silly but I am TERRIFIED of needles’
Hey, I’m putting a needle in your face - let’s be honest, no one looks forward to that part.
This fear is COMPLETELY rational and I take it very seriously. But, remember, I have been administering needles for 13 years. There isn’t a reaction I haven’t seen (and blokes are usually the worst!)
But if you're a fainter, if you’re terrified of needles, if you've heard horror stories.
I got you.
Please communicate your fears with me at time of booking. Sometimes getting you into the clinic can take a week of daily reassurance. I am more than happy to do this.
Once you're in, I have weighted blankets, calming oils, eye pillows, cold water for after treatment and also, my chair is completely equipped to move into the best position to help your dizziness. I allow enough time in my appointments to allow you to relax after your treatment if needed.
When performing your treatment I will talk you through every step, if you want me to. Or, you might prefer I simply complete the treatment without saying a word - so you can go to your happy place!
And the best news? The most common response from nervous patients after I've began treatment is "Oh, is that it?"So rest assured that often the anticipation is worst than the reality.
